You deal with a lot of unexpected challenges as a small business. One of those challenges, particularly for retail, is cardboard. We are small and we had to research what to do with our cardboard waste. It seemed like a waste to simply throw it away, we’re too small to resell it, and recycling wasn’t an immediate outlet. We committed, though, to recycle however we could do it.
Part of our recycling is reuse. We’re not Amazon, so branded boxes are an expense we’re not ready to take on. We separate boxes we feel we can reuse for our customers and we grow a stack of boxes for delivery to our county recycling grounds. Some of our collector customers are thrilled to get their toy in the box we received from the factory.
An unexpected personal benefit has been a gained awareness and effort to recycle our home cardboard as well. We’re not eco-superheroes (far from it), but we do run Have A Blast Toys & Games with a commitment to be good wherever we can: for our customers, for our suppliers, for our partners, and a little tiny bit for the planet.
We have a lot of great stuff coming and happening over the next few days. We’ll have new My Little Pony Friendship is Magic toys here this week, starring the ever popular Rainbow Dash and Princess Twilight Sparkle.

We’re also going to have the awesome Black Series Force FX Kylo Ren Lightsaber available. These are pricey, but well worth the quality.
